God Sighting | July 24, 2001

The Lord worked through us in feeding the homeless in Berkeley. I know that during my time there I was being led by the Spirit, although at the same time I was very much afraid. I hear the Lord calling me to come closer, and I respond. the only thing I long for is to abide. I sense the Lord's hand at work in my friendship with Brad. This is a good thing, and may He continue what is being rekindled. At Scott's church, I've heard the Lord speaking through the new youth pastor, Chad, and see and long to see more of God using him. I've been hearing of God touching people through visitor cards, witnessing that taking out just a little bit of time for people can have profound, lasting impressions and make so much of a difference in someone's life. I experienced God speaking through me in speaking with Maya, Anna, and Nikki. I've been overwhelmingly blessed with the privilege of spending time with new people.
